VARIETAL COMPOSITION
80% Tannat copigmentation with 20% Petit Manseng first press skins.

REGION
Cerro Chapeu, Rivera, Uruguay. 250 meters above sea level. Continental climate with great thermal amplitude.

SOIL PROFILE
Soils of alluvial origin from volcanic materials washed over millions of years that formed very deep reddish sediments rich in iron, with great depth and good drainage.

HARVEST
Handpicked with 15kg boxes.

ELABORATION
The Tannat clusters are destemmed on the tanks and combined with a percentage of skins of 1º. Petit Manseng grape press. Fermented with native yeast in stainless steel tanks with pumping over twice a day for 6 days. The 2nd fermentation ends in barrels of 2nd wine where the malolactic fermentation is completed, they are kept for a few months for a natural clarification.
