Bodega Cerro Chapeu

1752 Gran Tradición Cabernet Sauvignon-Tannat-Arinarnoa

Cerro Chapeu is located on the formation of soils called Batovi dorado, where red and deep sandy soils of low fertility are characteristic, considered to be among the oldest in South America.

This cut is produced from concentrated grapes from the best vineyards in Cerro Chapeu. Harvested by hand at optimal maturity and with very low yields of less than 50 Hl per hectare, thus obtaining a great concentration of varietal character.

The grapes are vinified using minimal intervention techniques in our gravity cellar. Each variety is aged separately in French oak barrels for 12 months, then blended and bottled with minimal handling.
